Phishing Warnings
We have been made aware of several scam emails and phishing attempts sent to IUPS 2025 participants / invited speakers about the congress in Frankfurt.
We are sorry for the inconvenience that these spammers cause you.
...regarding accomodation in Frankfurt
If you are contacted from any hotel agency regarding hotel rooms for IUPS 2025 (e.g. from Travel Housing Team / travellerpoint / travelexpert / ehotelservices / expoforhotelservices, Larry Ellison or EHS), please note that they are not operating on our behalf.
Participants may use our collaboration with TCH Hotels.
Invited Speakers (Plenary, Keynote, Special Lecture) will receive all information regarding their hotel reservation from the congress organisation (registration@iups2025.com or info@iups2025.com) only.
...regarding acquisition of attendee email lists

Unfortunately we have been informed that companies are contacting IUPS congress participants and vendors, claiming to offer attendee email lists for purchase. This is a common occurrence with large conferences and trade shows in recent years.

Please know that IUPS / the congress organisation do not rent, share, or sell your email or contact details to any third parties for any purpose.
These scammers are trying to phish for your information and gain access to financial resources. The companies have no association with IUPS or our annual congresses.
Please do not engage or reply to these emails. By responding, even with a request to unsubscribe, you confirm that your email address is a valid one. This may increase the likelihood that you’ll be contacted again.

We encourage you to block the sender, mark the email as spam / junk, and delete the email.
Please beware, that scammers are becoming more proficient and often use the IUPS name and logo in their signature to make it look more official.
